After 56 years of practicing eye care in Stow, CO-OP Optical Eye Care Center has decided the time has come for us to sell our practice. We appreciate the multi generation of family members who have been our loyal patients and customers over the years. Our home owned and operated business has been a friend to the community during our time of operation supporting schools, law enforcement, the arts, and other non-profit charitable causes.
Residents will welcome a new chapter on the corner of routes 59 & 91 with Eyetique, a 19 store operation based in Pittsburgh, whose commitment to excellence and fine eyewear is well known. Norman Childs and his group at Eyetique last year opened their first optical store in Ohio at Eton Chagrin Boulevard on Cleveland's east side suburb of Woodmere. Their highly qualified opticians will continue the excellent service that Co-Op Optical Eye Care Center is known for at the same location beginning June 1st. Dr. Robert Lohman and Associates will continue to provide comprehensive eye health care at Eyetique.
Our former patient records will remain on the premises with Eyetique and they will honor manufacturer's warranties on previous eyewear purchases if applicable. All eyeglass and contact lens orders purchased from CO-OP Optical prior to June 1st may be picked up by June 27th. Any balance due amounts can only be paid by credit card or by check payable to CO-OP Optical. Thank you to the residents of the City of Stow and surrounding communities. We appreciated the opportunity to provide your family eye care.
